- Description
- VA VISN 22 Network Business Center intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole source procurement with American Medical Depot, under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-24. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Request for Quotation is RFQ 600-850-04RB. The solicitation is set aside for 8A Competitive. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334119. This procurement is to obtain two (2) EA, Linvatec IM3300 NTSC 3CCD Digital Camera Controller and three (3) EA, Linvatec IM3330 NTSC 3CCD Eyecup Camera Head for delivery at Naval Medical Center San Diego, CA. located at: NMCSD, Receiving Branch Loading Dock 1, 34800 Bob Wilson Drive, San Diego CA, 92134. Contractor shall provide Linvatec Digital Camera Controller that incorporates 480P Enhanced definition output with multiple digital outputs. The controller shall include the option to zoom imagery and have programmable presets for individual preference. Contractor shall provide autoclavable Digital Camera Head to be used for Laparoscopic procedures. This product must be suitable to be used during procedures that are physically invasive and provide real-time digital imagery with anatomical correctness. This product must have a focus drive system that is resistant to fogging, debris penetration and tissue buildup. Unit must be resistant to shock vibrations and jarring up to or equivalent to a 40_ drop onto a moderately hard surface. All interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit a proposal. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will consider all proposals received by 3:00 PM Pacific Daylight time August 23, 2004. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely or the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
