Description

The 45th Contracting Squadron intends to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis with Computer Science Innovations, Inc., for Multi-Phenomenology Data Fusion and Mining Tools and Methods. The primary objective of this effort is the development of advanced data mining and fusion software tools and techniques capable of defining and detecting unique characteristics from multi-phenomenology data sets. The sole source acquisition is justified under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Evaluation of the contractor?s unique capability and existing products, concluded that the highly specialized effort required is available from only one source. A cost-plus-fixed-fee contract is contemplated with one-year basic contract period and a 1-year option period. This effort would require both a facilities and storage capability of at least the SECRET NO FOREIGN level, and the ability to support secure communication capabilities at the SECRET NO FOREIGN level. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code and size standard are 541330/$23.0 million. No solicitation documents exist at this time. NUMBERED NOTE 22 APPLIES
