- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The 106th Rescue Wing of the New York Air National Guard at F.S. Gabreski Airport in Westhampton Beach New York is in need of rescue tools/equipment. The tools/equipment consists of one B CT3120 package deluxe w/120V (158.052.004) Holmatro or equal, one hand operated combi-tool HCT 3120 (158.012.045) Holmatro or equal, two 56K air bag set lifting bag pkg (358.322.003) Holmatro or equal, two accessory package A-2 (358.582.004SP) Holmatro or equal, four air bottle 4.5-30 minute, three K12 saw 950 w/blade, and six carbide tip blades. This Request for Quote (RFQ) W912PQ-04-T-0022, is 100% small business set aside under the procedures of FAR Part 12, for brand name or equal of the listed equipment above. Descriptive literature and specifications are required with your offer. If items ca lled for by this RFQ have been identified in the synopsis/solicitation as brand name or equal description, such identification is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive, and to indicate the quality and characteristics of products that will be satisfac tory. Note: in accordance with FAR 11.104(b), offeror must give general description of salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics of the brand name item that an equal must meet. The evaluation of quotations and the determination as to e quality of the products shall be the responsibility of the Government and will be based on information furnished by the vendor. Delivery is FOB destination and is to be delivered to the 106th RQW, Westhampton Beach, New York, within 60 days after award. T his solicitation number W912PQ-04-T-0022 is being issued as a request for quote and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. This procurement is a small business set aside. The NAICS for this req uirement is 423830, General Purpose industrial machinery and equipment wholesaling, Size Standard is 500 employees. Award shall be based on the lowest price and technically acceptable proposal.
