- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is Request for Quotation No. 04SQ340229 which incorporates all provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular No.2001-24. This is a Small Business Set Aside, the NAICS Code is 335932 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, Yuma Desalting Plant, has a requirement for 26 EA $_______ Electrical Boxes with Sun Shielding with the minimum requirements of: Double doors, NEMA 3R electrical enclosures with locking lever handles, box 60"H, 48"W, 24"D with 12" mounting legs installed (72" overall height), 2 vertically mounted back planes, lifting eyes installed, removable sun shielding 3 ?-4" both sides and back, 7" above box on top. FOB is Destination. Delivery shall be made to Bureau of Reclamation, 7301 Calle Agua Salada, Yuma AZ 85364. The deadline for receipt of Quote is August 30, 2004, 4:15 p.m. local time. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial applies. Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items; The Government will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the Request for Quotation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) Technical, (ii) Delivery, and (iii) price. Technical and Delivery when combined are equal importance to cost. The required delivery date is 6 weeks after receipt of award; however, alternative delivery dates and partial shipments will be considered. Offerors shall submit descriptive literature of the item they are proposing for evaluation purposes. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the Provision 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; with its offer. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items applies. Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items applies including Paragraphs (b) 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 23, 25, and 30. These clauses are incorporated by reference and a full text of any clause may be accessed electronically at the following address: http://www.arnet.gov/far. Responses to this RFQ should be made electronically at the link provided in this notice at our website http//ideasec.nbc.gov. Effective October 1, 2003, prospective vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) prior to the award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR database may make an offeror ineligible for award. The CCR Handbook and information on the registration process can be obtained via the CCR website, http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423.
