Description

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to issue a sole source award to Applied Minds, Incorporated (AMI) for the development of two (2) new videos (classified and unclassified), maintenance, upgrades, building, dismantling, crating, transporting and reassembling NGA?s High Resolution, Virtual Reality Technology Demonstration Exhibit under the authority of USC 2304 (c)(1) pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only responsible source and no other items/services will satisfy Agency requirements. A Firm Fixed Priced contract is contemplated for a base 12-month period and four 12-month option periods for the majority of the work and a Time and Materials contract line item for the dismantling, reassembling and transporting of the Demonstration Exhibit. AMI designed and constructed this highly interactive and complex NGA Demonstration Exhibit including videos through innovative and creative uses of the latest technology. Firms that recognize they can provide this service are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification and provide supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer within thirty (30) calendar days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Please submit all written notifications via e-mail to douglass@nga.mil or palmerki@nga.mil. It is the responsibility of the sender to confirm if e-mails have been received. The final determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition is based on information provided and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
