- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Thunder Scientific Corporation for the upgrade of one (1) Automated Humidity Generator, (Model 9000) for the U.S. Navy. Thunder Scientific is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of this model and will provide an onsite upgrade and testing of this Calibration Standard. The upgrade will include updating the software package (ver. 2.8.0), installing new panel mounted control unit and provide an updated manual. The Government intends to procure the above item under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received within 15 days of publication of this notice.
