Description

The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to CyTec, Corp. of 2555 Baird Road, Penfield, NY. This acquisition is a small business set-aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3613. The NAICS code is 335313. This procurement is for support of the 412 Test Wing?s TRACON. The acquisition is as follows: 2 CyTec Mesa Control Mainframe, 2 CyTec Ethernet LAN/RS232 Combined Control Module, 4 CyTec 4600 Series Expansion Chassis, 1 CyTec Keyboard with LCD Manual Control, 54 CyTec 8 (2x8) 2s Switch Module, 1 CyTec Patch Panel 32x64 8-pin Connector, and a 10 year extended warranty. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government?s requirement. In addition, the response should include Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items in accordance to FAR 52.212-3. If the offeror does not have a copy of this provision, go to www.arnet.gov to obtain a copy or contact the contract specialist by email to receive a copy. Any responses received without 52.212-3 will be considered non-compliant. Further, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated Award date is ten days from date posted. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 4:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, August 29, 2004. Responses should be submitted to: 95th Contracting Squadron/ PKC (Chantel Pee), 5 South Wolfe Avenue, Building 2800, Edwards AFB, CA 93524-1185, Fax: (661) 275-9628. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received by the above due date of the publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Facsimile responses are acceptable and must be received on or before the closing date. Telephone requests to be placed on a mailing list will not be honored.
