Description

The Army Contracting Agency, Southern Region, Fort Polk Directorate of Contracting intends to solicit quotes to provide the correct size, install and maintain the Environmental Control Units (ECUs). These units are powered by generators and must ens ure the inside building temperature of 78 degrees F for the following buildings, Twenty (20) buildings approximately 150 x 60, and One (1) building approximately 100 x 50. All buildings have partial canvas wall of the sides. The contractor must provid e generator refueling to ensure continuous ECU operations and daily refueling of three (3) light sets. The requirement is to have the ECUs operational by 9 SEP 04 and continue thru 16 OCT 04. The contractor will provide an On-call Service Manager to respon d within two (2) hours. The buildings are located at JRTC ISB (Warrior Camp), England Air Park, Alexandria, Louisiana 71303. SIC for this project is 5075. NAICS code for this project is 333415. Proposed contract will be a firm fixed price contract. Ev aluation of bids will be an all or none basis. Solicitation will be available for retrieval on or about 20 AUG 04. Response date is no later than 2:00 P.M 30 Aug 04. Solicitation can be retrieved from http://www.jrtc-polk.army.mil/doc. Facsimile quotes will be accepted and may be sent to 337-531-2200.
