- APPROXIMATE ISSUE DATE: 3 March 2004 The purpose of this contract is to provide a means to repair, replace, or upgrade existing fire protection systems. This will include fire suppression systems and fire alarm systems. Each tasking will outline the specific work to be done for that tasking. Some tasks will involve only fire suppression work and some will involve only fire alarm work while others will involve both suppression and alarm work. Work will be at Hill AFB and its associated satellite areas of Little Mountain and UTTR. The contract will be for three years. All work will be coordinated through the Civil Engineering Project Management Office (775 CES/CECO). Before any tasks are initiated, contractor will place a phone call to Hill AFB Fire Department to notify them of contractor presence. Under no circumstances will any suppression or alarm system be left inoperative overnight. Any work slated for outside normal working hours, will be identified, requested, and approved on a case-by-case basis. This contract does not include special systems such as foam or carbon dioxide; it does not include fire pumps.
