Description

THE ARMY CONTRACTING AGENCY, SOUTHERN REGION, DIRECTORATE OF CONTRACTING ,FORT BLISS, TX intends award on a sole source basis with Cortron Inc., the replacement keys for the Amkey MPNK-70 Style Keyboard. The replacement keys are as follows: Angled Sw itch Cortron Part#: KF 10043003, 500 each. and Straight Switch Cortron Part#: KF10043001, 5500 each. Cortron Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer and only known source for replacement parts. The Government intends to procure the above item under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received in writing no later than 4:00 PM Mountain Time, August 26, 2004.
