Description

DESC: This solicitation is for a 3 year IDIQ Requirements contract for the following 6 items: Cover, Breech, NSN: 1015-01-342-0509, P/N: 12593464; Tarpaulin, NSN: 2540-01-342-0510, P/N: 12593448; Tarpaulin, NSN: 2540-01-342-0511, P/N: 12593458; Cove r, Spring, NSN: 1015-01-342-0512, P/N: 12593442; Cover, Spring, NSN: 1015-01-342-0513, P/N: 12593444; Tarpaulin, NSN: 2540-01-342-0514, P/N 12593542. Minimum quantities and quantity ranges will be included in the solicitation. FOB is destination. To be u sed on the M119 Howitzer. Estimated issue date is 7 September 2004. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is un der no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of the same. Proposed contract is 100% Small Business Set-Aside unless the appropriate award is made to Federal Prison Industries. Multiple awards may be made against this solicitation. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the Internet. Vendors who need this TDP in orde r to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request the same by submission of an email request to tacom-ri-tdp@ria.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available), company Name, Point of Contact (optiona l), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the Internet.
