- Description
- The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG) has a requirement for delivery of Time Source and Measurement Units. USAYPG intends to award a fixed price requirements contract. The contract ordering period will be for three years from the date of contract award. Estimated total quantity to be purchased over the next three years is twenty-four (24). The initial delivery order is anticipated to be for sixteen (16) units. This acquisition will utilize the procedures of FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and part 15.3 Contracting by Negotiation Source Selection. This requirement is being issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 334519 with a size standard of 500 employees. The complete solicitation with the specifications will be posted on the afternoon of 27 August 2004 at the Army Contracting Agency Yuma Division web site: http://www.yuma.army.mil/contracting under RFP. All technical questions concerning this requirement must be emailed to Laura St.John at laura.stjohn@yuma.army.mil before 12:00 pm noon Mountain Standard Time (MST) on 02 September 2004. All answers to technical questions received will be issued in the fo rm of an amendment to the solicitation. This solicitation will be awarded using Best Value determination. This solicitation will require the offerors to submit company experience and past performance information for evaluation to determine the best value to the Government. Consequently, the Government reserves the right to award to other than the low offeror. This solicitation will not be sent out in hard copy, you must obtain a copy from the above web site. If you are unable to obtain a copy of the solicitation from the website you may e-mail your request for an electronic or faxed copy of the solicitation, s pecifying the RFP number, to laura.stjohn@yuma.army.mil. Proposals shall include complete company name, mailing address, e-mail address, point of contact, phone number, facsimile number and business size. All quotes shall be clearly marked with RFP number W9124R-04-R-0037 and e-mailed to laura.stjohn@yuma.army.mil no later than 12:00 pm noon MST 13 September 2004. If you plan on participating in this acquisition you are required to provide your name, e-mai l address, phone number, and business address to the e-mail address above for notification of any amendments that may arise in regards to the solicitation. All prospective offerors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Offerors may register online at https://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html. Offerors that fail to furnish required representations or technical information as required by 52.212-1 or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration.
