- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, RI intends to award a contract, with firm fixed price provisions, under FAR Parts 12 and 13 procedures (commercial items; simplified acquisition procedures), for ITEM 0001, Test Cable Discontinuity, NSN 6150-01-483-2288-qty of 4 (Dwg. 7026104 Rev. dash plus) for the Mk48 MOD 6 Torpedo program, fabricated and tested per NAVSEA drawings, Parts Lists, and Notices of Revisions (NORS). The solicitation will be issued in less than 15 days per FAR 5.203(a) & (h)- on/about 25 AUG 2004. Procurement is on an unrestricted basis. Evaluation shall be ?best value? with evaluation criteria being ability to meet delivery schedule; price; and past performance. The NAICS code is 334419. Delivery is 90 days ARO. Marking of the items is per MIL-STD-129; packaging is per MIL-STD-2073-1D; and Unique Identification (UID) requirement is per MIL-STD 130L. Delivery is FOB Destination to NUWCDIV Newport, RI. We also provide electronic access in our Bid Room. However, the drawings, including specifications and Notice of Revisions (NOR), will not be exhibited on our web site. To receive a CD-R Disc copy of this information, a company must be certified under the Joint Certification Program (JCP) managed for Defense Logistics Information Service, Battle Creek, MI, as evidenced by a JCP Certification number in the Business Identification Number Cross-reference System (BINCS).
