Description

THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to extend the period of performance on Other Transaction Agreement number N00019-01-9-0246 awarded to Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation, Windsor Locks, CT. This effort was originally posted in the Commerce Business Daily under Joint Service Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) number 00-94058, dated 7 February 2000. The Other Transaction was entered into under 10 U.S.C. 2371 and Section 804 of the Fiscal Year 1997 Defense Authorization Act, P.L. 104-201, as amended. This effort is for stage 1 of the two-stage process under a Commercial Operations and Support Savings Initiative (COSSI) project where the Government and Contractor will share the costs of developing and testing the Electronic Propeller Control System (EPCS) on a C-130. The period of performance will be extended from September 2004 to March 2005 to complete necessary flight-testing on the EPCS on the T-56-A-16 Rolls Royce engine for C-130 aircraft.
