- Subject: 1. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia Washington Office intends to award a sole source contract for commercial Maritime data services for the Office Of naval Intelligence. The intended sole source for this requirement is Maritime Information Services of North America (MISNA), to identify and provide comprehensive, timely and accurate data on all ships scheduled to arrive in the United States at least several days in advance, and to have accurate arrival and departure data. Reporting sites can provide information on about sixty percent of ships arriving and departing from U.S. ports. Possible reporting sites include, but are not limited to, the following: - Alaskan Ports; - Puget Sound Ports; - Columbia River Ports; - San Francisco Bay Ports; - Southern California Ports; - Texas Gulf Ports; - Hampton Roads Ports; - Baltimore Port; - Delaware River Ports; - New York Ports; - New England Ports; - Florida Ports; - Charleston, SC Port; - Savannah Port; - New Orleans Port. 2. On a daily basis, the contractor shall provide information on all ships scheduled to arrive at ports in the U.S. within seven days. The contractor shall also provide a daily report on all ships that have arrived and departed from the identified areas/ports. Data provided by the contractor shall be ?publicly-available information? (i.e. data which is collected by the contractor as part of their normal commercial business). The contractor shall: - Collate data from all reporting sites into two distinct products prior to dissemination to ONI; - Ensure that a maritime professional reviews the data for accuracy prior to dissemination to ONI; - Include the IMO/Lloyd?s Register number in each ship record in order to enable ONI to automatically feed its databases. The North American Industrial Classification Code System (NAICS) is 813910. The Federal Supply Classification (FSC) for this requirement is 8145.
