- This is a combined synopsis/solicitaion for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information icluded in this notice. This annoucement constituted the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written soliciation will not be issued. This solicitation HSCG81-04Q-3YT006, is issued as an UNRESTRICTED request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are available via internet address: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 001; Lodging: Seventy (70) Double-Occupancy Rooms, for 42 days, from 03 Oct. 2004 (check in day) thru 13 Nov. 2004 (check out day). Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 002; Lodging: Two (2) Single or Double Occupancy Rooms for 17 days, from 13 Nov. 2004 thru 29 Nov. 2004, for storage. Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 003: Lodging; Seventy (70) Double-Occupancy Rooms for 4 days, from 13 Nov. 2004 (check in day) thru 29 Nov. 2004 (check out day). Rooms shall be furnished with Linens, Housekeeping, Local Telephone, Cable TV Services, and Parking. The geographic location for consideration is limited to facilities located within one (1) mile from the U. S. Coast Guard Atlantic Area Office (LANTAREA) located at 431 Crawford St., Portsmouth, VA 23704. Proposals shall include the address and distance (mileage) of the lodging facility to LANTAREA, available amenities, check-in/out-times and cancellation policy. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation, to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation and is the most advantegeous to the Government, price, past performance, quality and other factors considered. OFFERS will only be considered from Offerors who ARE COMPLIANT WITH THE HOTEL AND MOTEL FIRE SAFETY ACT OF 1990. OFFEROR SHALL INCLUDE THE LODGING FACILITY FEMA NUMBER, WHICH IS REGISTERED WITH THE U. S. FIRE ADMINISTRATION. All offers will be evaluated in accordance with Simplified Acquisition procedures, FAR Subpart 13.106. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Item (JAN 2004), 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (OCT 2003) and 52.215-5, Facsimile Proposals (OCT 1997), apply to this solicitation. The provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (MAY 2004), must be completed and submitted with the RFQ. Clause 52.232-18, Availability Of Funds (APR 1984) applicable. PLEASE READ, CMPLETE AND PROVIDE ALL INFORMATION IN THIS SOLICITATION AND PROVISIONS OF ALL CITED FAR CLAUSES.
