MORE THAN ONE PROPERTY WILL BE SELECTED FROM THIS SOLICITATION. STATEMENT OF WORK IS AS FOLLOWS: PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT 147TH SERVICES FLIGHT ELLLINGTON FIELD, HOUSTON, TX COMMERCIAL LODGING FACILITIES (CONTRACT QUARTERS) PROJECT: Billet members of the 147th FW during Unit Training Assemblies (UTA), Annual Tour (AT), and Field Exercises. Scope of Work/Guest Room Standards: Contractor shall provide and ensure that all personnel are quartered as follows in accordance with AFI 34-246.2.1: Single Rooms Officers (O1-010), and Senior Enlisted Rank (E7 E9) Double Rooms Junior Enlisted Personnel (E1-E6) Single rooms must be 250 square feet net inclusive of living area, private room, and private bath. Double rooms must be 135 square feet net inclusive of living area, private room, and private bath. The contractor will ensure that rooms are available for personnel performing monthly Unit Training Assemblies (UTA) scheduled and un-scheduled, as well as Annual Training (AT) and scheduled and unscheduled field training. Contractor agrees to provide rooms (ONLY) for members of the 147th FW, Texas Air National Guard, Houston, TX, 01 Oct 04 30 Sep 07 under any contract issued from this solicitation. Obligation: Government will only be responsible for rooms and reservations made by authorized personnel. Government is only obligated to the extent of authorized calls actually placed against this agreement. Government is not responsible for no-shows. The contractor will hold room for a reasonable amount of time (8:00pm), but after that time, the contractor may rent to anyone they choose. In the event of several contracts being awarded, Commercial Lodging Facilities (CLF), upon receiving the contract, will have the opportunity to request preferred room avail ability in quarters, (i.e. Oct Dec equates to 1st Qtr., Jan Mar equates to 2nd Qtr, Apr Jun equates to 3rd Qtr, and Jul Sep is 4th Qtr.). *NOTE: In Accordance With (IAW) AFI 34-246.2.4; Prior to contract being awarded, 147 FW Base Officials (Services, Contracting, Public Health, and Fire Department) must visit CLF. Contracting hotels are subject to unannounced periodic inspections. Billing: IAW AFI 34-246 2.2.6: Commercial Lodging may not exceed the lodging portion of the local area per-diem rate authorized by JFTR, Volume 1. It will be the contractors responsibility to collect for all miscellaneous expenses from the personnel, a nd to ensure these expenses are not on the invoice. All invoices must have the persons name, room number, date beginning and date ending. Pricing: The prices to the government shall be as low, or lower than those charged your most favored customers, in addition to any discount for prompt payment. FRI. -SUN. MON.-THURS.
