Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. This announcement constitutes the only notice; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FA4600-04-T-0181 is issued as a request for quotation. Quotes are due to the 55th Contracting Squadron no later than close of business (12:00 PM local time) on Sep 13, 2004. Quotes shall be submitted via e-mail in a Word, Excel, or PDF format to billy.wineinger@offutt.af.mil and jean.hinton@offutt.af.mil or by fax to 402-294-4069. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. This procurement is set aside for 100% SMALL BUSINESSES ONLY. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333912, and the small business size standard is 500 People. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order for a stationary air compressor breathing air unit, Scott Breathing Air System, Hush Air Compressor, 20 HP with LE5000 Controller (AB10-6653-04), Scott Revolve Fill Station with four Casade Panel (AB10-2021-04), and DOT Storage Rack (AB14-6001-04) or EQUAL. Award will be made based on price only. Contractors must be registered in the Wide Area Work Flow and Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award.
