- Description
- The Army Contracting Agency, White Sands Missile Range, Directorate of Contracting intends to procure Software Maintenance Service for PV-WAVE Foundation and Visual Exploration Floating License - UNIX or Linux Platform for already existing Software o n a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). The Government intends to award a contract to Visual Numerics, 10955 Westmoor Drive, Suite 400, Westminster, Colorado 80021. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 541511 and $21,000,000.00. The requirement is set aside 100% for small business. Visual Numerics is the sole source because they are the manufacturer of the original equipment and have intellectual and copyrighted property rights. They are the only company that can provide this service without interference to critical mission operations. NUMBERED NOTE 22: This notice of intent is not a request for quotation. However, all proposals received no later than 12:00 PM MDT 07 September 2004 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this propose d contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. You must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) in order to receive the award if you are selected.
