- Description
- This is amendment number 02 to the combined synopsis/solicitatation for commercial services previously posted. The due date and time is hereby changed to 11:00 A.M. Mountain time, Tuesday, September 14, 2004. Questions pertaining to this quotation should be submitted in writing no later than 1:00 P.M. Mountain time on Tuesday, September 7, 2004. Those questions received after the above time and date may remain unanswered. This amendment identifies questions received and provides all interested parties with the Government?s response. The following is a list of questions received and the Government?s responses. 1. Is it acceptable to mail the quotation on the due date if it is faxed on the due date; in other words, the paper copy would not be received by TMA until after the due date? Answer: Either a faxed or a paper copy must be received by TMA not later than the due date and time stated above. Subsequent copies should be received by TMA within two or three business days after the mandatory due date. 2. Regarding quotation submission copies, are Ms. Brenda Agner and Ms. Marjorie Watson to receive three copies (by mail) each and one faxed copy each? Answer: The hard copies that are forwarded by mail should be addressed to both Ms. Brenda Agner and Ms. Marjorie Watson. The same applies to the faxed copy it should be addressed to both Ms. Brenda Agner and Ms. Marjorie Watson. 3. We tried to access the following web site, but were unsuccessful; the web site address was http://www.TMA.osd.mil/standardprovider. Is it possible to obtain access to it? Answer: The correct address is: http://www.tricare.osd.mil/standardprovider. 4. Will MTF?s, pharmacies, and physicians be searched through one search query page or will there be three pages, as in https://www.triwest.com/triwest/default2.html or as in the service for the south at http://hmd.humana-military.com/south/main.asp, which also has the miles/proximity search, so must be geocoded? Answer: The search request is one screen. 5. Is there an estimate of the quality of the address information in the current records? The percent of which are already geocoded, that can be goecoded with a batch load, versus how many will need to be manually geocoded? Answer: None of the addresses have been goecoded by TMA.
