Description

We intend to award a sole source contract to Norgon, LLC 7518 K Fullerton Road Springield, VA 22153 for sling mounts because of their patented steel-casing manufacturing process as well as their patented sling clasp. The sling clasp can be attached to the follwing weapons systems: M4 modular weapon system with forward Picatinny 1913 rails M249 light crew-served machine gun with forward Picatinny 1913 rails M240B light crew-served machine gun with forward Picatinny 1913 rails Previous models of sling mounts used by U.S. military forces in the field have failed during operation. Norgon patented sling mounts have been tested and prove to meet all operational requirements. Note 22(any comments must be provided by 14 September 20 04 COB.)
