- Description
- The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service intends to make an award under Commercial Items, FAR Part 12 to WG Scorpion, LLC, a small ?women-owned business enterprise under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is to provide training on how to assess the Safety and Security of a Building and its Perimeters. The training will consist of a one-day, 3 ninety-minute sessions program at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Facility in Georgia. The training will include; 1) a overview of industry terminology, 2) provided instruction by architectural, engineering, and blast industry experts and government officials on methodology used for assessment of Building and Perimeter Safety and Security, 3) and an interactive Quick Building and Perimeter Assessments demonstration performed by the attendees. The proposed contract is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. The NAICS code is 611430. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The government will consider all responses received by 12:00pm, e.s.t., Thursday, September 16, 2004. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
