Description

The Forest Service intends to award a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures for lead based paint removal, siding, and painting on the Salmon-Challis National Forest, Lemhi County, Idaho. This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive proposals. This requirement is a sole source procurement to a service-disabled veteran-owned company under the authority of the Veterans Benefits Act of 2003 (15 U.S.C. 657f). This will be a fixed-price contract. The period of performance is 100 Calendar Days. If there are any other businesses that can provide the aforementioned services, they must respond with supporting documentation that they are a service-disabled veteran-owned small business before September 15, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. MST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is soley the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
