Description: The Department of Commerce/NOAA, Air Resources Laboratory intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Institute of Ecosystem Studies for follow on services to monitor precipitation chemistry on a daily basis. The Institute is part of the MAP3S event precipitation chemistry monitoring network controlled by the Air Resources Laboratory. The anticipated performance period is a one year basic period, plus two one-year priced options. The statutory authority for this action is 41 USC 253(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source.
