Description
The Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE) has now joined with Air Combat Command (ACC), Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Air Force Space Command (AFSPC), Air Material Command (AMC), and the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) to host the premier environmental training event in the Department of Defense The Environmental Training Symposium will be held 6-11 February, 2005 in Louisville, Kentucky at the Kentucky International Convention Center. In its 15th year, the event will host participants from all Air Force major commands, local, state, and federal governments/academia, and many other agencies/industries from throughout the nation and world. Students will receive instruction from government and industry experts on environmental compliance, conservation, safety, environmental health, and resource protection issues facing the Air Force. The 2000+ Symposium attendees are environmental specialists and managers, hazardous waste managers, logisticians, bioenvironmental engineers, public affairs officers, safety managers, contracting specialists and attorneys responsible for day-to-day environmental regulatory compliance. Exhibitors who specialize or offer innovative equipment and/or management expertise related to the symposium theme are provided opportunities to participate. The organizers are interested in companies who offer state-of-the-art approaches to Pollution Prevention, Waste Minimization, Information Management, Safety Products, Occupational Health, Monitoring and Site Remediation Technologies. Exhibit space at the symposium site will be offered, starting September 30, 2004. The exhibit period is 6-8 February 2005, providing exhibitors the option of departing or having your staff take advantage of attending the world class training offered the remainder of the week at no cost. The symposium will also provide exhibitors the opportunity to present technical sessions on relevant ESOH success stories, case histories, and new technologies.
