Description
The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to issue a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Computer Sciences Corporation, 2201 Buena Vista Dr SE, Suite 203, Albuquerque NM 87106. This acquisition is unrestricted. The SIC Code is 3679. NAICS Code is 334418. The following items will be procured: 20 ION Bus PCI boards which are capable of running ION Bus Firmware; capable of running an Altera Nios II Soft Embedded Processor; PCI-X, 64-bit (PCI 66/33 compatible); SFP Fiber Optic Transceiver Cage; User-installable 1.0625 or 2.5 Gbps SFP transceiver (auto-configuring); two 2 MB (512K x 32) 100 MHz ZBT SRAMSs (footprint up to 32 MB); 8 MB Flash RAM; 64 KB Serial EEPROM; 4 RS-232 Ports; 16 signal General Purpose I/O Port; Altera ByteBlasterMV Port; 16 MB Configuration EEPROM (room for two loads - selectable via jumper); In-System Re-configurable (ISR) - install new firmware by downloading across PCI Bus (no need to remove card to upgrade); and 5 status indicators. This is not a request for proposal. There are no solicitation documents, however, contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government?s requirement. In addition, the response should include Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items in accordance to FAR 52.212-3. If the offeror does not have a copy of this provision, go to www.arnet.gov to obtain a copy or contact the contract specialist by e-mail to receive a copy. Any responses received without FAR 52.212-3 will be considered noncompliant. Further, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Responses must be received no later than 1:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, 20 September 2004. Responses should be submitted to: 95th Contracting Squadron/95 CONS/PKC (Emee Santos), 5 South Wolfe Avenue, Building 2800, Edwards AFB CA 93524-1185, Fax: (661) 275-7874. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received by the response date stated above. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Facsimile responses are acceptable and must be received on or before the closing date. Telephone requests to be placed on a mailing list will not be honored.
