Description
MAINTENANCE /REPAIR FOR FIRE TRAINING FACILITY Solicitation FA8601-04-T-01168 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Quotes are due to the Government NO LATER THAN 4:00 PM EST on 20 Sep 2004 TO BARBARA P. JEMMOTT AT 88 ABW/PKSA, 1940 ALLBROOK DRIVE, SUITE 3, WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, OH 45433-5309, (937) 257- 6146 EXT 4233, FAX (937) 257-3926.The Operational Contracting Branch(88 CONS/PKSA)of the Aeronautical Systems Center would like to procure management, Labor, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, and parts necessary to maintain, repair, and inspect the fire training facility located on Perimeter Road in a manner that will ensure its Serviceability and prevent deterioration in value or effectiveness at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. This solicitation is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS concern in accordance with (IAW) the FAR Clause at 52.219-6, ?Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside (Jul 96)? applies. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This combined synopsis/solicitation will be the only announcement regarding this acquisition. The NAICS Code is 561210 and the size standard is $30M. The FSC Code is Z199. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24 effective 19 Jul 2004 and Class Deviation 2004-.0001. A Firm Fixed Price is anticipated with four line Items: Line Item 0001: winterization of fire training Facility in Nov 04 and Dec 04. Line Item 0002: perform spring start up of fire Training facility in Mar 05. Line Item 0003: perform Spring Operational Inspection of fire training facility in Mar 05. Line Item 0004: perform emergency repair of Fire Training Facility Contractor must justify fair and reasonable price For all management, labor, tools, equipment, Transportation, materials and parts prior to Conducting work as described in the (SOW) Statement Of Work. The SOW can be found at http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil/ . This will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. This Request for Quotation will be based on ?best value? to the Government, not necessarily lowest quote. This acquisition is done in acordance with FAR 5.101(a)(2)(ii). Written and faxed quotes are being accepted. The complete proposal Package including, completed Bid Schedule, Past Performance References, completed 52.212-3, Representations and Certifications and completed Request for Quotes are due 4:00 PM EST on 20 Sep 2004, and must be submitted to Barbara P.
