Description

The 50th Contracting Squadron, Schriever AFB, Colorado, is providing this notification to announce the projected solicitation release date on or about 17 September 2004 for Cisco Smartnet Maintenance. The award will be a commercial item firm fixed priced contract. The period of performance is anticipated to be from date of award 01 October 2004 through 30 September 2005, with an additional four (4) one year options periods. This acquisition is being issued as a 100% Service Disabled Veterans set-aside and is under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541519. Offerors must be an authorized Cisco partner. FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT, HOWEVER IT IS INCLUDED IN THE FY 05 BUDGET. AWARD IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDS BECOMING AVAILABLE ON OR AFTER 1 OCTOBER 2004. Vendor will be required to provide automatic updates, on request, of all major releases, with sophisticated upgrade planning processes, as well as maintenance fixes under the Cisco smartnet maintenance program.
