- The United States Marine Corps, Blount Island Command, intends to issue an order with Target Safety for Web Based Training. Period of performance will be one base year plus two option years. The contractor shall provide an information system that provides training requirements set forth in 29 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1910 such as Sight Conservation, hearing Conservation, Hazard Communication, Blood borne Pathogens, Marine Corps Order (MCO) 5090.2A compliant Environmental Awareness training, Prevention of Sexual Harassment training and computer Security Training. Key training system elements shall include: Features for self-registration, safety question capabilities, a virtual employee safety suggestion communication tool, randomized employee testing, and automatically generated certificates upon course completion. Service shall include access to customized database with capabilities to include assigned employee training, departmental reporting, trackin! g completions, test scores, certificates, addition of new or replacement employees and report generation. Automatic updated of courses on an annual basis to alleviate the monotony of taking exactly the same course annually and a tracking system that tracks performance and course completion by personnel name and date completed and the ability to review personnel information, including course completion information, regardless of whether the employee is active or inactive within the system. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. Written responses shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement as described above. Must also provide the following capabilities: System must be web based and must automatically update annually, must offer a specific number of Marine Corps specific courses, must offer the required OSHA/MCO 5090.2A human resources/ computer security courses.
