Description

The Internal Revenue Service has a requirement for Rainbow USB Tokens. The items and quantities required are as follows: CLIN 0001 ? Third Party Rainbow iKey 2032 FIPS, QUANTITY: 1000. CLIN 0002 ? Service Platinum Support Plan, QUANTITY: One Year from date of purchase. The contractor shall provide the following comprehensive and product upgrade software maintenance: Direct telephone, e-mail, and Web access to expert support engineers for problem resolutions, status reporting, documentation clarification, and technical guidance: Access 24 X 7: Free upgrades and maintenance release: Periodic support bulletin, as available. CLIN 0003 ? Installation and Engineering Support. All responsible sources who can provide the specified item as stated above shall submit a written response which shall include: Price (s); Delivery terms; Description of the item offered in sufficient technical detail to show compatibility to permit a technical evaluation; POC (name and telephone number); GSA contract number if applicable; Delivery date; Business size and Payment terms. All responses received will be fully considered subject to technical acceptability. Oral communications are not acceptable and will not be honored. All questions must be submitted in writing. Questions may be submitted by e-mail. Responses shall be submitted by 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 20, 2004 to the following address: Internal Revenue Service, National Office Procurement, 6009 Oxon Hill Road, Suite 500, Oxon Hill, MD 20745, Attn: David F. Smith III, O:S:A:P:I:E. Offerors may submit facsimile responses to this synopsis. These responses must arrive at the place and by the time specified above. These responses must contain any required signatures. The offerors wishing to submit facsimile responses should submit them to (202)283-0610. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the contracting officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. Currently, no solicitation document exists.
