Description
The purpose of this amendment is to provide government responses to questions asked. Question 1. Signal acquisition for required channel: Is it correct to assume that user will be responsible for signal acquisition; i.e. Satellite link or receivers for each channel, subscription related fees, etc. Response: The government interprets your question of user by stating the following. The government will arrange for signal links to support approximately 6 channels. The government will also assume the annual subscription cost. Question 2. Required Computer Hardware: Is it the responsibility of the Offeror to supply the necessary computer hardware, operating system and networking equipment required to operate the proposed solution? Response: Yes. The Offeror will have responsibility for providing hardware equipment necessary to support the proposed solution. Question 3. Does the Government have a preference for place of performance/delivery? In CONUS at Contractor facilities; CONUS at Government facilities; or OCONUS at Government facilities? Response: The performance location is in the vicinity of the Military District of Washington at a contractor's facility. Question 4: Will the Government require any validation testing or training for the delivered solution? Response: The government will require that the proposed solution undergo validation. A formalized training program is not required. Question 5: Will the Government require any implementation support? If so, will the personnel who support this require Security Clearances? Response: No, nor does the government require additional support such as a help desk. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
