Description

The Food and Drug Administration intends to award a Purchase Order on a sole source basis to Metabiologics for the acquisition Botulinum test kist type A, B and E. The Metabiolpgics test kits are the only kits available that can detect toxin types A, B, and E. The metodology in which the Metabiologics test is based has been AOAC validated. The materials the contractor shall provide: Precoated microtiter plate(s). Storage: 4?aC. Plates shall be separated from liquid components of assay kit and stored at ?V20?XC for longer periods of time. Biotinylated IgG. Storage: 4?aC. Strepavidin-enzyme conjugate. Storage: 4?XC. Tetramethylbenzidine HRP substrate. In foil package. Storage: 4?XC in dark. 1.0 % casein-PBS buffer, pH 7.5. 25 mM Tris, 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.05% Tween 20, pH 8.0. (TBST).Casein buffer (1X). Casein buffer (50ml) shall be shipped in a stabilized ready to use form. Shall not require filtration or dilution. Store at 4?XC. TBST wash buffer. Secondary antibody shall be provided as a ready to use1X solution. No dilution shall be necessary. Store at 4?XC. polyHRP-extravidin (Research Diagnostics, Flanders, NJ). Ready to use. No dilution shall be necessary. Storage: 4?XC. 3,3??,5,5??-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB). Ready to use. Storage: 4?XC in the dark. An award will be made in ten (10) days from the date of this notice. This is not a request for quotes; however, sources may submit descriptive literature, which fully demonstrate their capabilities, which will be considered by the agency. This sole source procurement is being awarded as a simplified acquisition in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5.
