Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F73TR142240100 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-24. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 811310, with a size standard of $6 million. A quote is being requested to include delivery for the following items: 1.) Transport 93D00175 P&H crane model CN-115, 22 ton, serial number 56567, Rough Terrain on Rubber Wheels, from Altus AFB to repair facility and upon completion of repairs, transport the machine back to Altus AFB. After award of contract and all parts on hand, the Crane 93D00175 is requested to be completed within 30 days; 2.) Supply all labor and parts (warranty of at least 90 days) to repair, rebuild or replace main boom lift cylinder on the P&H Crane model CN-115 and test for proper operation. AWARD SHALL BE MADE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS WHO HAVE REGISTERED WITH THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION AT: www.ccr.gov/. It is amended to read: Submit signed and dated offer to 97 CONS/LGCA, 303 J Ave., Bldg 302, Altus AFB OK 73523-5132 at or before 1800 (6:00 P.M.) CST, Wednesday September 15, 2004. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letterhead or pricing document. Quotations must include as a minimum, a.) company contact information, b.)price breakout for the two requested line items, c.) CAGE Code (from CCR registration), and d.) any other information relevant to the proposal. Quotations may be faxed to (580) 481-5138. No telephonic responses will be processed. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions. FAR 52.212-2 (Jan 1999), Evaluation?Commercial Items is incorporated by reference. It is amended to read (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) technical capability/acceptability of the item or technical solution offered to meet the Government requirement; (ii) price.
