Description
This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items, prepared with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) and quotes must be on an all or none basis. Or equal items are allowed and will be reviewed; bidder must be an authorized reseller of items, offering the same or better warranty and service as company where items originated. Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted). This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15 and DFARS and Change Notice 20030722, North American Industry Classification System Code 443112, and a Size Standard of $7.5 million applies to this procurement. The contractor will quote on the following items: 1. Hitachi CPX-880 LCD Projector, 3000 Lumens, XGA Resolution, 3 YR Warranty - 2 ea. 2. Chief RPA Mounts ? 2 ea. 3. Extron System 7SC Switcher/Scaler ? 1 ea. 4. Extron DA4 RGBHV 1X4 Distribution Amp ? 1 ea. 5. JVC DS-1463 Pro DVD/VCR Combo Unit ? 1 ea. 6. TOA A906 60 Watt Mixer/Amplifier ? 1 ea. 7. JBL Control 26 CT Ceiling Speaker Assembly W/70V Transformer ? 6 ea. 8. Crestron Integrated Control System ? 1 ea. 9. Crestron System Custom Programming ? 1 ea. 10. N.E.C. 15? LCD Preview Monitor ? 1 ea. 11. Tripp-Lite Industrial Surge Suppressor/Power Strip for Equipment in Rack ? 1 ea. 12. M.A.P. EQ. Rack for all A/V Equipment ? 1 ea. 13. Logitech Wireless IR Keyboard/Mouse ? 1 ea. 14. Xantech Infrared Repeater System ? 1 ea. 15. Installation Labor ? Includes all labor as required to install all above equipment. Also includes integrating existing PC and Video equipment with new equipment. Includes on-site customization of overall system operation (to be coordinated with Air Force personnel). Based on 2 Men for 6 Days @ ______ per hour (based on 8 hour days). 16. Installation Materials ? Includes all cables, connectors, and misc. materials as necessary to install all above equipment. 17. System ?As Built? Drawings in CAD Format and all System Documentation 18. Estimated Freight Charges. FOB Destination The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, apply to this solicitation. The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items, apply to this solicitation. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The clause at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items applies to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their quote. The Clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35,Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers; FAR 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.222-42, Statement of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires. The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses, cited are applicable to this solicitation: DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The provision at FAR 52.215-1, Instructions to Offerors?Competitive Acquisitions applies to this solicitation.
