Description

The 38 Engineering Installation Group/Contracting has a requirement for non-personal services for local telephone exchange services for Hammond ANG LA. The proposed contract is for five years. The local exchange service provider certified by the Louisiana Public Utilities Commission shall provide local commercial communications service for Hammond ANG LA. Local communications service shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial business lines, hunting, directory number and number portability, local and Intra-LATA access, analog trunks and interconnection with Inter-LATA exchange carrier. Competition is open to domestic and foreign sources. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. Sources responding to this synopsis must indicate, in writing, whether they are large, small, disadvantaged and/or a women-owned business. In order to be eligible for award of this Request for Quote (RFQ), offerors may be required to have a Basic Agreement with this office. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
