Description

The Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) has a requirement in support of a follow-on contract to provide Command, Control and Communication (C3) Integration and Modification, Maintenance, Enhancement and Engineering Support (CTES2) associated wi th the integration of avionics and avionics architecture into the CH-47, MH-47, MH-6, MH/UH-60, and other variants. The contract vehicle anticipated is a five-year, Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). Justification and Approval applies to an Other Than Full and Open Competition basis, CTES2, to integrate applicable capability and functionality of avionics and architecture by the developer Rockwell Collins Inc., 400 Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498. The requirement is subject to the av ailibility of funds. See notes 22. Authority Cited: Statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this requirement is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by paragraphs 6.302-1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) entitled - Only one responsible source or only a limited number of responsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This acquisition will be a follow-on contract to Rockwell Collins Inc., Government Systems. All responsible sources may submit an offer, whi ch will be considered.
