29?OIL COOLER, LUBRICATING. ITEM NSN: 2935 01 202 5339, PART NUMBER: 8427707. Interchangeable/Substitute part numbers and stock numbers, Part Number: 10752C, Stock Listed as 2935-01-245-7121 or Part Number: 87445-160-1, Stock Listed as 2935-00-159-9040 or Part Number: L8602772-1, Stock Listed as 2935-01-440-9157 or Part Number: 39606, Stock Listed as 2935-01-244-1475. Applicable to: C130 Aircraft. Destination: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. The Government is contemplating a competitive Three Year Requirements Contract (1 basic year with 2 one year options). CLIN 0001AA: Basic Year, BEQ 80 each, Delivery: 80 Each, on or before FEB 2006. CLIN 0001AB: Option 1, Year Two, BEQ 133 each, Delivery: 133 each TBD. CLIN: 0001AC: Option 2, Year Three, BEQ 138 each, Delivery 138 each TBD. Also, it is the governments intention, at the time of awarding the basic contract, that the first funded order for 80 each, which will cover the first year?s BEQ of 80 each Oil Coolers, be issued. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 28 Sept 2004. The approximate closing date will be 3 Nov 2004. Surplus Material is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Qualification Requirements are set forth in OC-ALC Source Approval Booklet. However, due to the complexity and critically of this part, only actual manufactures that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, or manufactures that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the government to be similar in complexity and criticality, can be considered approved sources for this item. The current approved sources are Stewart Warner South Wind Corporation, Cage Code 78385; AlliedSignal Aerospace Company, Cage Code 70210; LORI, Affiliate of Nordam, Cage Code 63389; Senior Flexonics Inc., Cage Code 07649. Qualification Requirements are available. Other sources which cannot meet the closing date of 3 Nov 2004 at 1600hrs will not be considered! Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
