Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement is for 1 each Infrared Variable Angle Ellipsometer Operating in the mid-infrared spectral range from 5000 to 300 wavenumbers. Must include computer-controlled polarizers, compensators, and sample state to allow for automated measurement of thin film optical properties. Must be a completely integrated system to include a Fourier transform infrared source, optics, alignment diagnostics, analyzer and detector, and automated c ontrol and data acquisition software. Requirement is in support of the development of new chemical and biological detection systems to support warfighter force protection measures. Descriptive Literature is required. Delivery is FOB Destination. Evalua tions will find technical acceptance as important as price.
