Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to award a contract to Information Processing Systems of California (IPS), San Carlos, CA for a Mobile Intercom over Internet Radio Interoperability System IRIS) co mmunications equipment package and installation for delivery to the California National Guard Headquarters in Sacramento, CA. The Government considers the custom manufactured systems listed below manufactured by IPS to meet the minimum requirements of the Government. Systems include: IPS-Trilogy 24 Channel Radio Interoperability Unit and Satellite Reach-back Service. Additional services/supplies include: 1 year 24x7 technical service by phone and unit will be in a Hardigg Cases. Contract will be awarde d unless another firm can provide equivalent equipment and services prior to 20 September to meet mission requirements. Equipment & services offered must meet all characteristics of IPSs. All responsible business firms must respond in writing prior to 1 400 17 September 2004.
