- NA Synopsis: A firm fixed-price three-year requirements contract is anticipated for the following item in support of the M17A3 Decontamination Apparatus: Valve, Safety Relief; NSN: 4820-01-291-2365; P/N: 5-45-5165 Connection type: Threaded internal pipe all ends; media for which designed: water, fresh single response; nominal thread size 0.500 inches all ends; special features allow free flow of 23 GPM when system pressure exceeds 260 PSIG (NormalOperating Pressur e is 180 PSIG); Reset Pressure is 220 PSIG: Manual Purge Control on top of valve; working fluid is hot water 95 PCT Liquid 5 PCT Vapor; Construction such that neither interior or exterior of valve is adversely affected by alkaline fluids and chemicals; 3.1 2 IN. H; 1.25 IN W; 2.0 IN. LG. This solicitation will be a small business set-aside. This valve must be purchased from one of the approved sources listed on the government technical data package and/or their distributors. Military packaging is required. FOB is destination. First Arti cle Test is required. The approximate issue date will be Sep 30, 2004 with an approximate response date of Nov 01, 2004.
