Description

The Philadelphia District intends to negotiate a sole source basis with Structural Testing Corporation, P.O. Box 9817 Newark, DE for specialized structural testing of the Summit Bridge. The contractor shall conduct test to measure and evaluate struc tural fatigue on six truss members for a realistic remaining fatigue life of the bridge members. This notice of intent is NOT A Request for Competitive Proposals. This notice is NOT a request for quotes. However, all information received within three (5 ) calendar days after date of publication of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon respons es to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. All work shall be completed within forty-five (45) days after award. All contractors are required to be registered in the DODs Ce ntral Contract Register before award as required by DFARS 204.7300.
