- Description
- Provide catering service for the Marine Corps during SASO training at March Air Force Base, CA. The service will be provided for 133 days from 25 September 2004 through 29 February 2005. The Contractor shall provide breakfast and dinner meals each day as identified below (dates may shift slightly as transportation windows become finalized): 25 September 2004 thru 11 October 2004: 200 Marines per day; 12 October 2004 thru 22 October 2004: 800 Marines per day; 23 October 2004 thru 29 February 2005: 400 Marines per day. There will be a break at Christmas from approximately 17 December 2004 thru 12 January 2005 when no meals will be required. The Contractor shall be responsible to feed twice daily 2 hot meals. The meals to be provided are breakfast and dinner in buffet style. There will be 2 feedings for each meal provided. Groups of Marines will come in cycles will come through at each seating. The Government will NOT provide cooking and preparation facilities. ! The Government if needed will provide one generator. There is drinking water available on site. There are portajohns available on site. The Contractor will be responsible for set up and tear down of an adequate number of tents, tables and chairs to accommodate the number of Marines being fed. The Contractor shall be responsible for set up and clean up and providing hand-washing stations for Marines to utilize before meals. The area that a mobile kitchen could be set up is level. Dumpsters will be available for use by the Contractor. The Contractor shall provide all napkins, utensils, and silverware. Fixed price contract. NAICS code 722310.
