- Amendment A01 has been issued to all planholders and the revised proposal due date has changed to Thursday, July 1, 2004, no later than 4:00 p.m. On or about Wednesday, May 12, 2004, plans and specifications will be available for $100.00 per set for a project that includes labor, materials and equipment required to build out existing leased space of approximately 10,000 sf to USPS specifications at the Everett Retail Unit, 11, 11A, 13, 13A Norwood Street, Everett, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. The estimated cost of the work is between $1,200,000.00 and $1,500,000.00 with construction completion no later than 180 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Technical inquires are to be addressed to the Project Architect, Jonathan Warburg of Dewberry-Goodkind, Inc. at (617) 695-3400, jwarburg@dewberry-goodkind.com or to the Project Manager, Edward O'Connell at (603) 427-6283. There will be a preproposal meeting held on site (11, 11A, 13, 13A Norwood Street, Everett) on Thursday, June 3, 2004 beginning at 10:00 a.m. to discuss the specifics of the project. Attendance is not mandatory but is strongly suggested. Award of this project will be based on price and other factors as outlined in the solicitation package. The successful offeror will be required to submit a monthly subcontracting report with their monthly pay request. Contractors will be required to submit a Company Health and Safety Plan with their proposal which will be part of the evaluation process. Prior to award, the contractor will be required to submit a project-specific safety plan acceptable to the USPS Contracting Officer. Guidelines for the plan are listed in this solicitation. Request for plans and specifications are to be mailed to the Attention of Catherine Battos at the Northeast Facilities Service Office, 6 Griffin Road North, Windsor, CT 06006-0300. Cash will not be accepted. Company check or money order only ($100.00 per set) made payable to the Disbursing Office, U. S. Postal Service. Fax and telephone requests will NOT be honored.
