Description

AMENDMENT 0001 HAS BEEN UPLOADED TO INCORPORATE REVISED SPECIFICATIONS, DRAWINGS AND EXTEND DUE DATE TO 10/12/04 AT 2:00 P.M. EST.....Dockside Repairs NOAA Ship Albatross IV to be performed at 166 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA. Performance period to commence on or about November 22, 2004, and shall be completed on or before January 7, 2005, (46 calendar days) Basic contract items are Day Tank Fuel Oil Filter Replacement, Galley Deck Replacement, Main Engine Exhaust Stack Top Replacement, Searchlight Replacement, Stateroom Bulkhead Panel Replacement, Stern Rail Spot Light Installation, Winch Control Booth Overhead Replacement, and Galley Grease Trap Replacement. NOAA Ship Albatross IV will be available for inspection September 3, 2004, 10:00 a.m., at the Northeast Marine Support Facility, 166 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA. Appointments and arrangements for inspections can be made by contacting the COTR at (508) 495-2347. Characteristics of the NOAA Ship Albatross IV: Length Overall - 187 ft., Beam (Molded) - 33 ft., Propulsion - Single Screw, CPP, CAT D379 diesels, Electrical System - 2 CAT SSDG's 215 KW 440VAC, 3 Phase, Crew Size - 23. This is a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible small business sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency. Copies of the solicitation will only be available via this website. All interested small businesses shall download the solicitation after August 23 2004.
