Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format outlined at FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small businesses only. The NAICS code for this synopsis/solicitation is 334516 and the Size Standard is 500 employees. Solicitation/purchase request number F1GPL142520100 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24 effective 19 July 2004. The Government intends to award one contract line item number (CLIN 0001) for: LUMINANCE/RADIANCE STANDARD & SPECTRAL RADIANCE INSTRUMENT CALIBRATION. (CLIN 0001 A) LUMINANCE/RADIANCE STANDARD GENERAL REQUIREMENT: One (1) luminance/radiance standard for integrating sphere based National Institute of Standards (NIST) traceable luminance/radiance standards, (CLIN 0001 A) LUMINANCE/RADIANCE STANDARD MINIMUM TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: 18 inch diameter or greater integrating sphere, 6 inch or greater output port, radiance intensity at output port of 80 microwatts/cm2-sr-nm or greater, variable attenuation over 6 orders of magnitude, radiance calibration of 400 nm - 2500 nm, luminance uniformity at output port: ≤ ?2.0%, color temperature monitoring, luminance monitoring, multiple light sources and modular construction; (CLIN 0001 B) SPECTRAL RADIANCE INSTRUMENT CALIBRATION GENERAL REQUIREMENT: One (1) spectral radiance instrument calibration consisting of uniform calibration/spectral radiance 300 - 2500 nm., (CLIN 0001 B) SPECTRAL RADIANCE INSTRUMENT CALIBRATION MINIMUM TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Calibration of instrument traceable to NIST, radiance calibration from 300 - 2500 nanometers, two sigma standard deviation uncertainty less than 4% below 2000 nanometers, two sigma standard deviation uncertainty less than 8% above 2000 nanometers, calibration data points every 10 nanometers below 1500 nanometers and calibration data points every 50 nanometers above 1500 nanometers; (CLIN 0001 C) MISCELLANEOUS GENERAL REQUIREMENT: Packaging, crating and shipping.
