Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 7 (Alaska) intends to award a sole source procurement to Microwave Telemetry for the following: Fourteen (14) Model PTT-100 Argos Certified Satellite Transmitters. These transmitters shall meet the following specifications: 1. ARGOS Certified 2. Potted and designed to be surgically transmitted in waterfowl 3. Stainless steel antenna positioned on package so that it will exit bird vertically at a 90 degree angle 4. Designed to resist pressure 5. Programmable multi-season duty cycles (to be specified at a later date) 6. Temperature and battery voltage sensors 9. Tranmitter Codes This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, and the government does not intend to accept proposals received. Award will be made 7 dayss after publication of this notice. See Numbered note 22.
