Description

The purpose of this modification is to provide additional information to the previous announcement posted August 26, 2004. The time and date for receipt of proposals remains unchanged, and the proposals are due no later than 4:00 P.M., local Denver time, September 28, 2004, at the place specified for receipt of proposals.*** The additional information follows: a. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541310 and the small business size standard for this code is $4.0 million. b. Vendors interested in "teaming" opportunities may wish to research the Small Business Administration's database at http://www.ccr.gov At this website, click on "Dynamic Small Business Search" to begin search. c. Incumbent contractors currently performing this work are: EDAW, Inc.; HNTB, Inc.; OTAK, Inc.; and Sellards & Grigg, Inc. d. If proposals are sent through overnight or express delivery service (either commercial or U.S. Postal Service), the address is Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management - BC664, Attn: Tracie Richardson, Mail Room, Entrance S-4, Building 50, Denver Federal Center, Denver, CO 80225. e. The Facility Asset Management System (FAMS) is a third party commercial off-the-shelf product that the Department of the Interior has slightly modified to meet its needs. f. Further clarification of Items b. and c. from the announcement posted 08/26/04: Business process redesign and implementation would be to provide assistance in one or more of the following areas: defining, establishing, base lining, categorizing, inventorying, and/or maintaining a computer model to manage known (dams and bridges, buildings, deferred maintenance, etc.) or unknown upcoming facility programs. Program development and implementation - The potential work in this area would be to assist the BLM in evaluating, recommending, and/or manipulating the program to provide BLM a more useful tool (data base, report runs, inventory, etc.) in managing programs and resources.
