Description

The Government intends to procure Toxicology Technical Assistance services as required by the Navy Environmental Health Center, Portsmouth, VA. The services required to provide technical assistance regarding toxicology include, but are not limited to the following: preparing written reports summarizing the evaluation of the supporting science for draft or provisional toxicity values(s) that are appropriate for submitting to regulatory agencies responsible for setting the final toxicity value(s), including a discussion of the current literature and the identification of scientific disagreement and data gaps. Delivery will be FOB destination. The proposed requirement will be awarded under a Firm Fixed Price contract as a commercial item. Planned sole source to Scientia Veritas, L.L.P., 5910 Northwood Drive, Evergreen, CO 80439-5517. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 16 September 2004 by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows: http://www.neco.navy.mil. The applicable NAICS Code is 621999. The size standard is $8.5M. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
