Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services/items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The government intends to negotiate and award a so le source purchase order with Grooms Office Systems, Inc. for rearranging, transporting from and to various areas, and furnishing pieces and parts required to complete an approved design for the MANSCEN headquarters at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Fort Leonard Wood intends to issue a purchase order to Grooms Office Systems, Inc, Springfield, MO, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), only one responsible source, substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered throu gh competition, and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements would occur. Grooms Office Systems, Inc. is the Herman Miller Furniture representative for the Fort Leonard Wood, MO area and has performed these services in the past and have expertise in working with the existing furniture systems. In addition, Grooms Office Systems, Inc. can supply the parts that may be required in the rearrangement effort. Period of performance shall be 24 September 2004 through 14 January 2005. Dept of Lab or Wage Determination No. 1994-2311, latest revision, pertains to this procurement. This notice constitutes the only announcement; a written solicitation will not be issued NAICS Code 484210 and small business size standard is $21.5 million average annual gross receipts.
