Description

RFP# 1-JC-04-CASSA COST PLUS INCENTIVE FIXED FEE PROCUREMENT. The U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Job Corps Region I, Boston has a requirement for the operation of the Cassadaga Job Corps Center which is located in Cassadaga, New York. Also, required as part of the contract are Outreach/Admissions Services that include 55 Male & 55 Female arrivals annually from parts of New York State as delineated in the RFP. Requirements include provision of academic, vocational, social skills and career development training, and related support services for an estimated total of 150 residential male students and 120 residential female students. The contractor shall provide residential quarters (housing) and services to residential students. The Contractor shall provide Post-Center Career Transition Services annually for 253 Graduates & 105 Former Enrollees returning to the states of New York and New Jersey. The successful contractor will operate the Cassadaga Job Corps Center with the services shown above for a two year base period (06/01/05 through 05/31/07). Additionally, the contract will include the Government?s right of three successive one year options. This procurement will be made in accordance with FAR 215-1 Alternate I which allows for oral presentations. Despite the allowance of oral presentations, written submissions will also be required. The written parts of the proposal are to be received at the Job Corps Region I, Boston Regional Office at John F. Kennedy Federal Building, Room E-350, Boston, Massachusetts 02203 by December 3, 2004--12:00 (Noon) local time. RFP to be issued on or about October 4, 2004. In accordance with FAR 5.102(A) (7), availability of the RFP will be limited to downloading from the following web address: http://wdsc.doleta.gov/jobcorps/ A pre-proposal conference will be held on October 19, 2004 AT 8:00AM local time at Cassadaga Job Corps Center, 8115 Glasgow Road, Cassadaga, New York 14718-9619. Tel# (716)595-8760. Directions: Drive 49 miles south of Buffalo on the NY Thruway Interstate 90 to exit 59; take Route 60 south 8 miles to Cassadaga. Upon entering Cassadaga, take a right at the JC sign. Travel approximately 2 miles to road?s end. Take right, proceed for ? miles. The center will be on the left side of the road. Interested offerors must limit their attendance to no more than three individuals. All attendees are encouraged to download the RFP prior to the PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE. Approximate anticipated dates for oral presentation are January 6, 2005.
